Date of Concert: 2/16/2009 | Location: Detroit
I anxiously awaited seeing two blues guitar legends for the first time, all in one concert. Buddy Guy failed to disappoint, playing steadilly while engaging the crowd. B.B. King, however was onstage for over an hour and forty minutes and if he played fifteen minutes of actual guitar, I'd be surprised. I realize his age and energy may not be what it was even ten years ago, but by God man, your a guitar player, people pay to see you play, not listen to cute stories filling the time. I am pleased to say I saw tow blues greats, but seeing B.B once was plenty for this fan.
