Govt Mule played a laid back blues heavy set on a Sunday afternoon at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Touring with Bob Weir and Ratdog, the band played a two hour set that featured trademark jams like "Soulshine" & "Lay Your Burden Down". Bob Weir even joined in on the fun at the end of the set.

Mule-O-Ween! This was Mule's first trip to Boston with new bassist, Jorgen Carlsson. Mule played for about three hours at the Orpheum in downtown Boston. Their first set was a hard rocking typical (if there is such a thing) Mule set. The second set is one that will be talked about for years among Mule fans. Dressed up for Halloween, the band came out and did a whole set of Pink Floyd. Complete with back up vocals, and Ron Holloway helping out on the sax when needed. They covered songs from Animals, and Dark Side with near perfection. Anytime you can see Gov't Mule, it is going to be a special night, but this night went above and beyond what I expected. Like most of their shows since fall of 2004, you can purchase a download of this show at muletracks.com.
